How To Ping Your Forum IP

The guide below will help you find your forums ip address .

To find your forums IP address using ping, following these steps:

Step one

On your computer click on

Start then Run

Step two

In the Open box, enter cmd (or command, if you wish). Click OK.

Step three

At the prompt, enter ping followed by your domain name.

So for example, if i wanted to find the ping address of this forum i would type

ping howtodoit.myfreeforum.org

If done correctly then you should see this

And there you will see your forums ip address.

in this example it is shown highlighted 64.38.58.178

that is what you need to add in the address box
