If you wish to change the fav icon tab img as shown below
Then you have to edit you overall_header.tpl and place this code

Somewhere in between the tags so it could look like this

Please note that the image must be an icon with the extention .ico
You now need to login into your forum control panel and goto
Extras > Simple Features and Tick the box saying : "Disable default myfreeforum tab icon.
